Clear answers

Questions restaurant owners often ask.

Everything you need to understand the service, setup and day-to-day experience.

Getting started

What does AfghanDine create for a restaurant?

We can create your public website, visual QR menu, guest ordering experience and practical waiter, kitchen, cashier and manager tools. The exact setup is chosen around your restaurant.

Do we need to build or upload anything ourselves?

No. AfghanDine is a managed service. You provide the restaurant information, menu, prices and available photography; we organise, design and configure the experience for you.

Can we begin with only a website and menu?

Yes. A restaurant can start with a website and visual menu, then add ordering or operational tools when the team is ready.

How is pricing decided?

Each restaurant has different content, branding and operational requirements. We first understand what you need, then provide a clear proposal for that scope.

Guests and menus

Do customers need to download an application?

No. Customers use the restaurant website in their phone browser. A table QR code can open the menu directly.

Can guests choose their table and order?

Yes. Guests can enter or confirm their table number, add dishes and send the order directly to the restaurant team.

Can the menu support Dari or Pashto?

Yes. English, Dari and Pashto can be configured individually or together according to the restaurant, city and audience.

Does AfghanDine support online payments?

The current experience is designed around cash-first service. Online payment can be considered later when a restaurant has a suitable payment option.

Staff, data and support

Can waiters place orders as well as guests?

Yes. Waiters can create table orders, and both guest and waiter orders can appear in the kitchen and cashier views.

Who can see sales reports?

Reports are separated from normal staff access and intended for authorised managers.

How long is reporting data retained?

The current reporting approach is designed around up to 90 days of operational data, with exports available when longer records are required.

What happens after the restaurant launches?

AfghanDine remains available for guidance and agreed updates. Restaurants are not left alone with an unfamiliar system.
